“The Groove Blueprint” is an artistic and educational project created with the aim of building a concrete bridge between the world of street and club dances and the context of the contemporary theatre scene, fostering an authentic dialogue between languages, aesthetics, and practices often considered distant. LOOSE Philippe "Physs" Almeida Loose is a performance that explores the concept of weight as a loss of gravity, a surrender that frees the body from tension and control. Movement becomes suspended and unstable, shaped by falls and impulses that continuously redefine balance. Created as the outcome of an artistic residency led by choreographer Philippe Almeida together with the dancers selected for The Groove Blueprint. STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS Raw Edge Dance Company Milena Garofano Stream of Consciousness was conceived as a choreographic investigation into the complexity of human thought. Inspired by the stream-of-consciousness technique and the fragmented writing of Ulysses by James Joyce, it explores the continuous succession of thoughts, perceptions, emotions, and memories that flow through the mind. Like a moving river, thought does not follow a linear logic but unfolds in a spontaneous and unpredictable way. Dance thus becomes the language of this non-linearity: gestures that emerge, repeat, and shift direction, like memories resurfacing or emotions returning. The body tells the story of the chaos and beauty of a mind in motion, inviting us to inhabit uncertainty, embrace fragmentation, and allow what we are to flow freely, without the need to control or explain it.
