"Nídia é Má, Nídia é Fudida" Nídia é uma das vozes de uma geração que tem vindo a transformar o panorama da música electrónica contemporânea internacional a partir de uma base comunitária. Depois da estreia com “Danger” em 2015, enquanto ainda assinava como Nídia Minaj, em 2017 editou na Príncipe Discos o seu primeiro longa duração “Nídia é Má, Nídia é Fudida”. Ao longo do seu caminho tem tocado um pouco por todo o mundo, co-produziu um tema no último disco de Fever Ray (premiada com um Grammi pelo trabalho, o equivalente aos Grammys na indústria musical na Suécia) e assinou remixes para outros pares como Kelela, Yaeji ou Lafawndah. https://principediscos.bandcamp.com/album/n-dia-m-n-dia-fudida Kaval é um produtor e DJ de Toulouse com uma base muito forte no UK Funky e GQOM. A sua presença sonora no mundo clubbing europeu é já uma constante. Evoking Rory Gibb's articulate hermeneutics on The Quietus, "Her music is dazzling in all senses, a trance-inducing tangle of boxy drums, vivid swirls of synthetic melody and buzzsaw grime bass, all corralled into tracks that feel less like functional dancefloor units and more like short, sharp shocks of adrenaline.” Nídia - who has now dropped the 'Minaj' - released her debut album "Nídia é Má, Nídia é Fudida" in the Summer of 2017 on Príncipe. It was preceded by single 'Sinistro', who Kevin Lozano, on his Pitchfork track review, postulated "the song shows that Nidia’s music, magnetic as it is, no longer needs to fit into the grid of the dance floor, and can exist all in its own space". It is the work of a young woman closing in on her finely tuned seismic transformation brought to the contemporary alternative dance infrastructure internationally, and the kuduro culture in particular. Since then Nídia has contributed with production work for Fever Ray's 'Plunge' album - won a swedish Grammi for it - and participated in Kelela's 'Take Me Apart' remix album, in between all the travel and performances around the globe, from Red Bull Music Festival editions in New York and Berlin, Sonar Barcelona or Just Jam at the Barbican in London.
