Come uscire a Johannesburg
Uscire a Johannesburg è abbastanza simile a Città del Capo. Le persone escono per cenare e bere qualcosa intorno alle 20.00, poi si recano nei bar e nei club per divertirsi tutta la notte.
Anche festival come We Love Summer, Lighthouse Festival e Ultra organizzano ogni anno un’edizione a Johannesburg. Le serate migliori per uscire sono il giovedì, il venerdì e il sabato. Ci sono anche altre cose divertenti da fare a Johannesburg popolari tra i locals e i turisti, come ad esempio andare alle partite di rugby. Johannesburg è più che altro una città d'affari e di lavoro: è il posto giusto per chi vuole fare carriera in Sudafrica.
I luoghi migliori per uscire a Johannesburg e alcune delle aree di ristorazione più popolari di Johannesburg sono Sandton, Melville e Braamfontein, ognuna delle quali offre un'atmosfera e un'esperienza culinaria unica.
Sandton è più elegante, è la zona in cui escono gli uomini d'affari ed è la zona più internazionale. Rosebank è nota per i bar e i club alla moda ed è un luogo ideale per uscire a ballare con gli amici.
IIIlovo - Quest'area è nota per i suoi pub e luoghi di ritrovo, ed è un quartiere più popolare e locale per chi vuole rilassarsi dopo il lavoro. Andate a bere qualcosa in uno dei tanti locali o a provare la migliore cucina locale di Johannesburg.
Fourways è un quartiere che si rivolge a studenti e ad ai locals, noto per la sua atmosfera rilassata e ricco di bar e opzioni di intrattenimento.
Tuttavia, come ogni grande città, anche a Johannesburg ci sono zone da evitare per motivi di sicurezza. È importante prendere le dovute precauzioni e stare attenti a ciò che ci circonda, soprattutto di notte, in zone come Hillbrow e Berea.
Come nel resto del Sudafrica, uscire a Johannesburg non è molto costoso, soprattutto se si viene dall'Europa o da altri Paesi occidentali. È possibile acquistare diversi drink anche con un budget limitato e, se si vuole fare il botto, si può contare su una spesa pari a circa due terzi di quella che si spenderebbe a casa.
Se andate a Sandton vestitevi bene, a Rosebank e Illovo potete vestirvi in modo smart casual. Lo stesso vale per Braamfontein, dove è sufficiente vestirsi in modo casual.
I ristoranti di lusso e la maggior parte dei club non vi faranno entrare se indossate pantaloncini e infradito, ma questo non è diverso dalla maggior parte del mondo ;) Il clima è simile a quello di Città del Capo, dove fa caldo in estate e può fare piuttosto freddo in inverno.
