In this first TEDxIbiza Salon, The Culture of Water, we gather at La Granja to explore water from multiple perspectives: ecological, historical and cultural. From folklore to heritage, from local traditions to community rites, our speakers invite us to see Ibiza’s water crisis not only as an environmental issue, but as a cultural one. Speakers: •⁠ ⁠Toni Manonelles - folklorist and writer •⁠ ⁠Martin Davies - writer, editor, cultural historian and founder of Barbary Press •⁠ ⁠Rafael Tur - environmental activist, spokesperson and treasurer of La Alianza por el Agua and La Associación de la Valle de Rafal Trobat. Moderated by: Joanna Hruby This event is in Spanish, Catalan and English; translation to English/Spanish will be provided.
