MAAYA is a platform for art, music and culture at the heart of Berlin's RAW site. Since 2024 we've made the city's diversity visible, with a focus on Afrodiasporic, Latin American, Asian and queer perspectives. Born out of collective work, MAAYA is a living home for the communities that shape and carry Berlin's club culture every day. As part of STAY CORE, we're kicking off October with a Community Talk bringing together established and new collectives from the Afro, Latino, Swana, Queer & FLINTA scenes. The focus is on experiences, challenges and perspectives on collective worK, passing on knowledge and strengthening solidarity networks. The evening then turns to MAAYA's two biggest communities: African and Latin American, and their friends. Afrobeats meets Baile Funk, Amapiano & Kuduro meets Reggaeton and Dembow, a space for encounter, new collaborations and celebration together.
