There is no European country where Onur Özer has not played his records. This young man with trendy looks personifies one of the most outstanding figures of the Istanbul clubber scene. He owes his fame to several productions launched through the Berlin label Vakant of Alex Knoblauch and Stephan Bolch where he releases his album Kasmir, trendy minimal techno but, beware, with arabesques and details of Turkish popular music that influenced him so much since his early childhood. In 2006 he definitively gains the confidence of this germao label and releases the cd mix Momentum: A Vakant Mix Compilation with tracks by Alex Smoke, Mathias Kaden or Robag Wruhme. Onur is also a regular at Vakant nights in Berlin clubs like Panorama Bar or Harry Klein. In spring 2008 Hourglass Remixes (Mute) is released with tracks by Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan, including Saw Something remixed by Onur himself.
