Recess Recordings HIPPIES Porkys Drew and Graham, now partners in music, both grew up raving to the sounds of drum and bass and started producing electronic music early 2012. Sharing influences spread from soul, old school hip-hop and disco and having DJ’d as solo artists for a number of years they decided to unite and become VANSON. The duo have been producing and playing together now for almost two years and their area of expertise is techno and tech house although they don’t pin themselves to a specific genre. After working every hour together in the studio together they have had great success. VANSON have releases on recess recordings, HIPPIES, and one forthcoming on audiowhore and have had support from huge artists; Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin and Lance Morgan on Rinse FM.
