Electronic duo Pegboard Nerds concocted exuberant future bass fit for dancefloors, bright anime, or kinetic video games (a major influence on their visual aesthetic). Their sound -- a little future bass, a little dubstep, a lot of chiptune -- was the inspired amalgam of Alexander Odden (Norway) and Michael Parsberg-Hansen (Denmark), a pair of producers whose stage name is an anagram of their last names. Starting in 2005, they released a string of EPs and remixes, including a pair of collaborations with Splitbreed. A decade into their pairing, they started a campaign in 2015 called Operation Pink Cloud, aimed at ending breast cancer. The Pink Cloud EP featured guest turns from Max Collins, Johnny Graves, and Jonny Rose. ~ Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi. They have produced and released various types of EDM through Monstercat and are currently active. Odden and Parsberg met for the first time in 2005 and formed the group. The name "Pegboard Nerds" is an anagram of Odden and Parsberg. They are currently the artists with the most releases on Monstercat, with their debut song on the label being "Gunpoint", a dubstep song released in 2012. Some of their more popular songs on Monstercat are "Razor Sharp" (with Tristam) and "Disconnected", the latter of which was the most watched song on the Monstercat YouTube channel, before it was overtaken by Tristam & Braken's "Flight". It’s been open for less than 10 years but La3 has quickly become one of the most iconic clubs in Valencia. The club’s name comes from the 3 rooms within the club: Main Room, Oven Club y Sala2, which have hosted the most famous national and international artists such as Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Laurent Garnier, Seth Troxler, 2manydjs, Vitalic and Flux Pavilion among many others. La3 is not only one of the best party clubs in Valencia but it is a meeting point for true music lovers. In terms of music, La3 is now adding more urban styles such as trap, R&B and hip-hop and the popular Friday night is adapting to the needs of its public, the young and cosmopolitan masses. To satisfy you on Saturday nights, there is a new event at the club called “Electric Saturdays”, where you can enjoy the best national and international techno and house DJs in any of the 3 rooms that the venue boasts. If La3 is known for something in particular, it’s because of its high quality music played weekend after weekend. When it comes to the dress code, you can be as informal and as casual as you like - don’t worry about it. This club doesn’t have a strict dress policy; as long as you come to have fun and share unforgettable nights with your friends, nothing else really matters.
