Since 2012, Lorenzo Calvio has made music an always present traveling companion in his life. Calvio first was drawn into his musical journey through classical piano studies and influential tracks by Depeche Mode, Alan Parsons Project and The Cure. His transition to electronic music came spontaneously.
Calvio's relationship with music was born from his desire to search for what he calls 'collective emotions" which he crystalized through his work. He wants to leave a mark on listeners that are not dependent on the latest trends.
In the three years as a producer, he has released on labels such as Moodmusic (Berlin) and Apparel (London). His work has been remixed by artists such as Martin Patiño (Cadenza, Suara) and Alexander Mayer (Compost, Moodmusic), Andrea Arcangeli (Off), Federico Grazzini (SCI+TEC), Asal (Nervous) LE:ON (Toolroom), Affect! (Save Us) and Ed Ed (Noir Music).
His tracks have been played by renowned artists HOSH, Sasse and Rampa and featured in the Defected Radio show.
His last track "Now Or Never" has reached the first place in the Traxsource Techno Chart.
Recent releases have led Calvio to play sets in venues such as Macarena and The Coconut in Barcelona, Suicide Circus in Berlin and The Marriot Dubai.
Calvio shared the stage with Hot Since 82, Adriatique, Lehar, Martin Patiño, Blond:ish, Solomun and Claudio Coccoluto, and his summer residence at No Name of Ibiza resulted in collaborative sessions with Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Maceo Plex, Noir and Ida Engberg.
