Se pararmos para pensar em nós, em quem somos e onde param as nossas raízes, temos que admitir os factos: somos bichos da cidade. Passamos com a fita métrica ao pormenor, rasgando cada pedaço do centro de Lisboa, medindo e equalizando os sítios mais bizarros - porque por vezes são mesmo isso - para darmos uma festa. Gostamos da cidade, da azáfama, da confusão, da vida a mil como o ritmo da nossa música. Mas ainda não nos libertámos do Verão, daquele retiro delicioso ao sol, da forma como nos desligamos de tudo e confraternizamos na piscina ou no jardim, a gozar a vida e os amigos. No maior jardim da cidade encontrámos o que procurámos. Monsanto, o pulmão da cidade, onde a conexão com a Natureza é imediata e a liberdade é a palavra de ordem. Aqui respira-se, dança-se, dão-se cambalhotas na relva se a vontade for essa, molham-se os pés no lago e faz-se o que se quiser. Afinal, seja na cidade ou no campo, estamos em casa. This is our House. - If we stop to think about ourselves, about who we are and where our roots lie, we have to admit the facts: we are city bugs. We pass the tape to the details, tearing each piece of the Lisbon centre, measuring and equalizing the most bizarre places - because sometimes they really are that - to have a party. We like the city, the hustle and bustle, the confusion, the excitement of life as the rhythm of our music. But we haven't yet freed ourselves from the summer, from that delicious retreat in the sun, from the way we disconnect from everything and fraternise in the pool or in the garden, enjoying life and friends. In the city's largest garden we found what we were looking for. Monsanto, the lung of the city, where the connection with Nature is immediate and freedom is the motto. Here you breathe, dance, flip over the grass if you want to, get your feet wet in the lake and do whatever you want. After all, be it in the city or in the country, we are at home. This is our House.
