[status: two crews, one table] (THE IDEA) slapfunk began in utrecht, friends throwing a party for their own people. tokonoma began the same way, and then built its own space from scratch. two crews from different cities, started for the same reason: bring people together through music. this night is what happens when they finally share a table. (THE EXCHANGE) neither side is the guest and neither is the host. the night moves between two handwritings. what comes out of it, nobody can fully plan. that’s the point.
