This time presenting Fur Coar, Technophile & Romax Hailing originally from Venezuela, and now based in Barcelona, Fur Coat’s story is one of passion for salsa and soul, blended with love for electronic music. It’s a tale of deep, dark driven beats and rolling grooves that both encapsulates the mind and moves the feet. It was this love of music that by chance in 2004 brought Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine together and led to a musical intertwining which would drape itself royally over the shoulders of the music industry. While Technophile – AKA Nabih Esta, one half of dynamic Beirut duo Ronin & Nesta – lives up to his tech-loving name, his roots lie in the twisted, melodic haze of psychedelic and progressive rock bands. With Pink Floyd, Eloy & Porcupine Tree at the forefront of his collection, and with a family of drummers spurring him on, Nabih fell head over heels into the club scene in his teens, discovering Global Underground at 13, and defining DJs like Anthony Pappa, Danny Tenaglia, Lee Burridge and James Lavelle. And it’s this melding of musical matter that defines Technophile's unique sound: cutting edge dance music imbued with a dark, sexy, experimental groove. Ku Barcelona bénéficie d'un emplacement privilégié et unique, en bord de mer, dans la zone de loisirs la plus importante de la ville. Le projet a été développé par l'équipe de design d'intérieur du groupe Costa Este en collaboration avec Pepe López del Hoyo. Le club se caractérise par ses tons blancs, qui contrastent avec le rouge de l'entreprise, ainsi que par ses formes organiques et arrondies, dans le plus pur style ibicenco. Ouvert tous les jours de la semaine, il mise fortement sur le commerce, en proposant chaque jour des styles musicaux différents, afin d'attirer à Barcelone les meilleurs DJ et artistes (nationaux et internationaux) de la scène musicale du moment. Mais Ku Barcelona n'est pas seulement synonyme de nuit et de fête. Nous disposons d'un restaurant de grande qualité, sur notre terrasse face à la mer, avec une offre gastronomique basée sur la fraîcheur de la cuisine méditerranéenne, avec les arômes et la passion de l'Orient. Enfin, la terrasse face à la mer (couverte et découverte), en plus d'accueillir le restaurant pendant ses heures d'ouverture, est l'endroit idéal pour prendre un cocktail ou un en-cas entre deux rendez-vous.
