RUIZ OSC1's skills in mixing through vinyl and digital have seen her play at some of the leading clubs around Europe such as Tresor, RSO, Rex, Industrial Copera, Gotec Club, and Vault Sessions just too name a few. In her early stages, she was heavily influenced by her mother, a legendary music dealer for salsa merengue, and other classic Colombian folklore sounds during the late 80s / early 90s. In 2010 RUIZ OSC1 left for Europe, bringing along this vast musical background and merging it with groovy, upbeat electronic music, which gave birth to a fresh new sound uniquely hers. This is a high-speed, flawless, sexy, and refreshing folkloric groove techno. This year she will begin releasing her music with his first appearance on KAOS (Héctor Oaks Label) in one of the three (12" ) "Ritualistic Discoteca" collection, "Grooveroots" where she and the single EP blends her roots and the groovecore sounds that characterize her.
