Matt Halls is a techno DJ and producer from Cape Town, South Africa. His musical journey began at the age of 7 as a drummer in a metal band, eventually transitioning into the dynamic world of electronic music. Known for his dark, hypnotic soundscapes, Matt skillfully blends digital, analog, and physical instruments in his productions. Over the years, Matt has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Sama, Amelie Lens, Benza, Farrago, Ben Sims, Juliet Fox, waFF, Paranoid London, Stimming, and HVOB, as well as notable South African talents including Daryn Steytler, Fabio, Dogstarr, Ivan Turanjanin, Bruno Morphet, The Fogshow, and Killer Robot. A standout moment in his career was headlining South Africa’s iconic Rocking the Daisies festival in 2018.
