CABÀSS presenta un tardeo electrónico inédito con conexión Barcelona - Valencia, en uno de los espacios más singulares de Valencia: el Ático del Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània, ubicado en un emblemático edificio en el mismo centro de la ciudad. Como invitado especial contaremos con el escurridizo productor barcelonés Sergi Morell (XIXA), cofundador del sello Abstract Places Audio especializado en techno e IDM de atmósferas complejas. XIXA lleva produciendo desde 2005, interesándose en sus inicios por el hardware analógico de los 80. En 2014 su trabajo en estudio da un giro de 180º al descubrir el sintetizador modular. Esto hace que se centre más en la música techno y se interese por las texturas complejas y la percusión. En esta ocasión nos ofrecerá una vertiente musical más acorde al formato tardeo. XIXA ha pinchado en algunas de las salas más respetadas de la ciudad condal como Moog, LAUT, Macarena Club o La Terrazza. A los platos se sumarán los DJs habituales de los eventos privados organizados por Hepta Club. Por un lado Pumukovic, amante de la contundencia techno con toques progressive / trance y las melodías sutiles, que se mueve como pez en el agua buscando las profundidades desde las que hacer disfrutar a la pista. Por otro, DJ de Continuidad, miembro del mítico colectivo friki Alababarada y vinculado durante muchos años a la escena drum'n bass de la ciudad, plantea sesiones eclécticas que fluyen entre el italodisco, discofunk, indie-dance o house. Un cóctel variado pero siempre desde la electrónica de calidad para un tardeo diferente, selecto a la par que irreverente, que no te puedes perder. CABÀSS brings to you a different electronic evening with a Barcelona-Valencia connection, in one of the most unique spaces in Valencia: the Attic of the Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània, located in an emblematic building in the very center of the city. As a special guest we will have the elusive Barcelona producer Sergi Morell (XIXA), co-founder of the Abstract Places Audio label, specialising in techno and IDM with complex atmospheres. XIXA has been producing since 2005, with an early interest in 80s analogue hardware. In 2014 his studio work took a 180º turn when he discovered the modular synthesizer. This made him focus more on techno music and he became interested in complex textures and percussion. On this occasion, he will offer us a different point of view, more in line with the time and the place. XIXA has played in some of the most respected clubs in Barcelona, such as Moog, LAUT, Macarena Club and La Terrazza. Joining them on the decks will be the usual DJs from the private events organised by Hepta Club. On the one hand, Pumukovic, a lover of techno forcefulness with progressive / trance touches and subtle melodies, who moves like a fish in the water looking for the depths from which to make the dancefloor enjoy. On the other hand, DJ de Continuidad, a member of the mythical freak collective Alababarada and involved for many years to the city's drum'n bass scene, presents eclectic sessions that flow between italodisco, discofunk, indie-dance and house. A varied cocktail but always based on quality electronic music for a different, but selected and irreverent evening that you can't miss.
