DHRUPAD | Indian Classical Music Concert Programme 6.00pm - DJ set | Electronic music with Indian influence | Dilen 7.45pm - Vegetarian dinner 9.00pm - Concert with Ricardo Passos (singing) and Jorge Lozano (pakhawaj)  10.00pm - DJ set | Electronic music with Indian influence | Dilen Dhrupad is the oldest surviving form of Indian classical music, having originated in the chanting of Vedic Hymns and Mantras. Besides being a highly developed classical art with a complex and elaborate grammar and aesthetics, it is also a form of worship, in which offerings are made to the divine through sound or 'Naada'.  Dhrupad can be seen as a meditation, a form of yoga based on the knowledge of the nadis and chakras, as well as a performance art, portraying a vast universe of human emotions.  Let's travel with the voice of Ricardo Passos and the percussion of Jorge Lozano. You can choose to arrive before the concert and listen to some Indian-influenced electronic music by Dilen.
