After linking up in Abidjan, Ivory Coast during Detty December, ọ́kụ́ and Djaouli Entertainment are joining forces for a one-off special collab in the heart of Berlin. Joining them at MAAYA’s backyard will be Djaouli’s own Seny and Bujin, fresh out of Cape Town. ọ́kụ́ is a Berlin-based club night founded by UK-Nigerian dj, Juba and Berlin resident Sara. @okubln focuses on high-energy, bass-heavy dance music emanating largely from the Global South. @djaouli_ent is an alternative music project and DJ collective based out of Abidjan and was founded by MASK ON, Seny and Dalight. For their link-up expect an offering of some of the most exciting sounds emerging from the African electronic dancefloor — from Biama and Mara Beats to Gqom, Kuduro and beyond!
