LoTech, DJ for 24 years, Promoter for 19 years and music fanatic for as long as he can remember. Early musical influences where the psychedelic rock bands of his father's record collection by the likes of Uriah Heap, Deep Purple and The Doors. A love for nineties Hip Hop led him to DJing. The discovery of legendary 90's Progressive House Record labels like Renaissance Records, Hooj Choons, Global Underground as well as pioneer DJ's in the field like Sasha and Digweed, Anthony Pappa and Dave Seaman made a everlasting Imprint. By then the DJ bug had already bitten. Fast forward 18 years to Durban South Africa where LoTech is a previous resident at Kulture Nightclub and Origin Nightclub. Appearances on 5FM has led to National opportunities like playing at ToyToy, AND Nightclub, Truth Nightclub, Sunday Funk, Aruba Lounge, The Sunday Social, Sugar Sunday and Stones Centurion VIP in Johannesburg as well as Mødular. and Reset in Cape Town. As of late LoTech has extended his reach to the KZN Festival scene with regular performances and headline slots at festivals like Elysium, Butterfly Effect, Hex, Abracadabra, Funky Fish, Indigionous Frequency and Connexion NYE. The LoTech Curates brand was spawned in 2019 and has since hosted several club nights, pop up events and a Festival stage at Hotboxed Creative Groups Thank Me Later Festival. This success nationally has opened the door for LoTech to play alongside some amazing International talent like: Kidnap Kid, Wankelmut, WHYTE NOYZE, Third Son, Einmusik, Juliet Fox, Betoko, Hatzler, Djumma Soundsystem and Gabe.
