His father, a musician and a jazz fan, encouraged him to go to the Jazz Academy of Monaco where he learned the saxophone for 6 years. Going to clubs since his 15, brought him to do a DJ training in 2006 at the renowned DJ School: DJ NETWORK in Cannes. His Dutch origins brought him to The Netherlands to study Hospitality Business. The Dutch culture got him to like new music genres: Deep House and Techno. After playing in renowned underground venues such as Whoosah Beachclub, PIP, Strandclud de Karavaan, F.A.S.T or AIR Amsterdam along side notorious names such as Rancido (Innervisions), Marcus Worgull (Innervisions), Teenage Mutants (Suara), EFIX (Hungry Music) and many more. Co-Founder of Dutch collective DEEP KLASSIFIED, Julien dB recently created the duo ‘Parallels’, with his brother, who he shares the studio and the decks with, hoping to bring it to an international level.
