.. : Ernesto Ferreyra (Argentina/Canada) Born in Argentina, Ernesto Ferreyra travels the world in pursuit of musical enlightenment. From Mexico, to Montreal, to Berlin, Ernesto proves rhythm knows no borders. Taking his first steps as a radio Dj in his hometown Córdoba, by the age of 16 he becomes a fully-fledged club DJ. Determined to see the world, Ernesto moves to Mexico City, where he begins his production career. Drawn by the vibrant creative culture of Canada’s electronic music hotbed he decides to move to Montreal three years later, where he meets Guillaume Coutu Dumont, with whom he records and performs live under the “Chic Miniature” moniker. In the summer 2010 Ernesto becomes a resident at Ushuaia Beach Club with Luciano, and also at Vagabundos until 2015. During the winter of 2010 Ernesto releases his debut album ‘El Paraíso de las Tortugas’, which receives very good support from the press and fellow artists. At this point he starts touring across five continents non-stop including some of the world’s best clubs like Berlin’s Panoramabar, Tokyo’s Yellow, Womb, UK’s Fabric, Space, Amnesia and festivals like Time Warp, Aweakenings, Sonus and many more. Ernesto’s crisp, seductive cuts appear on labels including MUTEK, Crosstown Rebels, Cadenza, Musique Risquée, Cynosure, Memoria, Maybe Tomorrow, LowMidHigh, as well as curating remixes for Manuel Araneda, Acirne, Guillaume Coutu Dumonts and Adam Marshall, to name a few. His second long play “Some kind of sign” is released in 2014, followed by several remixes and EP's. Nowadays Ernesto is getting ready for his first release on his own label “Loosen Up Records”, supporting his very own monthly nights at Club der Visionaere, Berlin.
