Cosmic Cowboys's Upcoming Gigs Sun 24 Apr, 16 Origami, Treviso, Italy Powered by GigaTools Is in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Venice, that Nico and Kaled decide to create a new project called “Cosmic Cowboys” with the idea of melting their different musical backgrounds into a new sound that soon has become their very own trademark worldwide. Big friends since they were 10 years old, they got soon involved into electronic music and influenced by a wide range of styles as house, techno, trip-hop, electronica, chill out and classic music developing during the last decade a style that couldn’t be defined with other term than “cosmic”, edging between the silky lines that divide deep-house, dub and tech-house with their quintessential romantic touch, always able to create a special intensity in their music. It’s in december 2009 that the guys release their first official EP “Rent A Starship” who got straight into the top 100 singles of the year for DjMag and following to this first important moment it’s surely with the begin of the collaboration with Kollektiv Turmstrasse and their label Musik Gewinnt Freunde that Nico and Kaled take the next step to become an highlight among the new names on the european scene working also with labels like Compost Black Label, Rotary Cocktail, Suara, Traum Schallplatten or Plastic City and getting in charge of remixes for Kollektiv Turmstrasse themselves, Minilogue, Italoboyz, Djebali, Lucy & Rone, Moodymanc or Dj Le Roi as well as several collaborations with youANDme, Mr. Statik, John Dimas or Echonomist who just helped them to showcase their versality and confidence towards different shades of the contemporary electronic music. In december 2013 the guys release their first LP called “Zero Gravity Love”, a project with an extremely diverse and mature sound that could be considered as an experiment of going back to their musical roots with a modern attitude, and after this they decide not to release any other music for the following year to have time to experiment and develope their sound again and again and is in 2015 that Nico and Kaled mark their return on the scene ready to adventure themselves on new paths and joining the roster of Luca Bacchetti’s imprint Endless and John DIgweed's Bedrock. It could be considered already a solid background considering also their dj sets and live performances all over Europe and the Middle East but as they always like to say: “the best has yet to come”.
