0202_19 Barraca presenta... Charlotte de Witte & Cora Novoa /\\\\ Cerrar el escenario de SonarClub después de que lo haya pisado Richie Hawtin no está al alcance de cualquiera. A pesar de su juventud y de llevar muy poco tiempo en el circuito, Charlotte de Witte ha demostrado sobradamente que está perfectamente preparada para ello. Nacida en Gante (Bélgica) hace 24 años, de Witte tiene una virtud que no se ve tan a menudo en los DJs de hoy: la naturalidad. Viéndola en acción, seleccionando, mezclando y estructurando sus sesiones, parece que esto de pinchar techno para grandes espacios sea lo más sencillo del mundo y que cualquiera pueda ponerse a ello. Sabemos que no es así, y por ello lo que está consiguiendo en tan poco tiempo tiene aún más mérito. De Witte posee un talento innato y un oído muy fino, cualidades que marcan también sus propias producciones, publicadas en sellos como Novamute o Turbo, la plataforma de Tiga. La DJ y productora belga ha venido para renovar y aportar nuevos matices a un estilo a menudo tan cerrado en sí mismo y tan manoseado como el techno enfocado a la pista. Y tracks como "Closer" y "Motion", ambos del año pasado, son buena prueba de ello. Sí, se puede.
