Formed by pianist Gilles Grimaitre and percussionist Julien Mégroz - is a Swiss experimental group devoted to contemporary creation, whose artistic aim it is to transgress stylistic boundaries and broaden horizons. Electrified or electronic, the repertoire for this concert is very much a reflection of the on-stage energy that HYPER DUO has been developing for many years. Alex Paxton's jazz-rock hyperactivity, Sarah Nemtsov's punkish samples and Colin Alexander's delicate waves will all be on show, along with the laughing complexity of the two musicians' own compositions. They'll be playing a new world premiere version of their 'Cadavre Exquis', a visual and musical kaleidoscope based on their latest video clip by artist Emmanuel Vion-Dury.
