Videocittà arrives in Naples, bringing its ongoing research into digital culture, immersive arts and audiovisual experimentation to the Real Albergo dei Poveri, one of the city’s most important monumental complexes. Videocittà will transform the spaces of the Real Albergo dei Poveri through site-specific audiovisual installations and interventions involving light, lasers, sound and digital content. The project stems from Videocittà’s research around the theme of the sea and the Mediterranean: an element at the heart of the city’s identity, a cultural landscape and the narrative framework of this new edition.
