Murcia is a city full of joy and in which one breathes a clearly youthful spirit. The reason? It’s a city where a university atmosphere reigns. And we already know that this is synonymous of social life. Social life, above all, in the streets. The temperature in Murcia cannot be compared between, for example, winter and spring, not to mention the heat in summer, which is almost unbearable! Not for nothing is it said of Murcia that, in summer, it is practically a ghost town.
If you want to party in Murcia, one thing is clear: you'll have to bet on Thursdays and Saturdays and, to a lesser extent, on Fridays too. Pubs and bars, most of which are located around Tascas, are usually open until 4 am. If that is not enough and you are looking for really loud music, you should go to Atalayas. That's where the nightclubs and discotheques are concentrated, usually open until 6 or even 7 in the morning. You want to extend it even further? Then we can tell you that Moss from time to time has extended hours schedules. If you’re looking for after-hours, ask the locals. Especially in the electronic clubs, they will know how to advise you.
One last piece of advice: as we were saying, Murcia is known for being almost a ghost town during summer. If you are going to be here in the months of June, July or August, we recommend you to visit the coastal areas. Practically all of Murcia moves there to continue dancing... closer to the Mediterranean Sea.
