Alla fine dello scorso millennio uno strano locale con uno strano nome apriva le sue porte per la prima volta in una strana zona della città. Q, una sola lettera, hommage ad un semidio capriccioso e bipolare di Star Trek. Via Padova, il Bronx di Milano la chiamavano allora. Dicembre 1999: Amanda Lear arrivava a mezzanotte, con cinque ore di ritardo rispetto all'opening della sua mostra di quadri, sul sellino posteriore di un Ciao guidato dal suo boy toy di 24 anni. Da allora queste mura, e questo quartiere, ne hanno viste veramente tante: il Bronx è diventato NoLo, pittoresco mix di etnie, creativi e locali di ogni tipo, in continua ed effervescente evoluzione. “La Locanda” si è trasformata varie volte: nata come ibrido galleria d'arte/club, ha accolto simpatiche danzatrici del ventre nel suo periodo “etnico” che l'ha praticamente distrutta, è rinata dalle sue ceneri come Q21 all'inizio della decade scorsa, si è fatta un extreme make over poco prima di andare in letargo nei due anni di pandemia e ha voluto tornare alle origini: Q Welcome to Your House, folks!
