female:pressure Portugal - launching event

[ PT ] A female:pressure - rede que luta pela diversidade e paridade de género na música e na arte - anda a abanar estruturas e a questionar sistemas desde 1998. Esta rede lança-se agora em Portugal, pela mão de um coletivo de mulheres portuguesas que quer tanto abrir pistas como discussões à volta desta questão. Neste primeiro evento, que terá início durante a tarde no exterior do Arroz Estúdios, partilham-se diversos tipos de criação artística que inclui DJ sets, live acts, performance e uma exposição. O objetivo é não só ir dando a conhecer ao público português o trabalho que tem sido desenvolvido nestas áreas por mulheres e identidades queer, mas também obter fundos para investir na formação e divulgação das nossas comunidades. Dia 25 de fevereiro, a Arroz Estúdios será o local onde nos vamos juntar todes em prol de uma causa maior, usando a Arte e a Música como pontes entre nós. Traz o teu, ou podes adquirir diretamente à porta do evento por 3€. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ EN ] female:pressure - a network that’s been working towards a more diverse gender representation in music and the arts - has been shaking strtuctures and questioning the status quo since 1998. This network will now be unleashed in Portugal, by the hands of a Portuguese woman-led collective who wants to open both dancefloors and discussions around this topic. In this first event, starting outside Arroz Estúdios in the afternoon, different artistic expressions will be on offer - from DJ sets, to live acts, performances and an exhibition. The goal is to not only introduce the Portuguese audiences to the work of women and queer identities in our country, but also to invest in the education and promotion of our communities. On the 25th of February, Arroz Estúdios is the place where we will all gather for a greater cause, using Art and Music to build bridges between us.
