Disturb presents the talented ONYVAA for the first time. Los Angeles native DJ, producer, and live act. ONYVAA is one of Europe’s newest imports that is rapidly rising on the global techno circuit. She was awarded ‘The Best Newcomer Award’ for the DJ awards in Ibiza and recently described by Richie Hawtin as ‘the future of techno’ with also a release on his iconic label PLUS 8 Records. During her live performance you can expect an energetic trip that is influenced by the timeless sounds of Detroit and early 90’s warehouse techno. Combining hypnotising loops that she constructs with her modular synths, groovy bass heavy drums, emotive pads and leads, along with her original field recordings she collects around the world. Laurent Garnier described her Passeport 007 release as “excellent dancefloor monsters....”, also supported by Marcel Dettmann, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte De Witte, and many more. Passeport gives her creative autonomy to release her original productions. ONYVAA’s brand of no frills and movement provoking techno has landed her hosting her own Passeport label night at Rex Club Paris and on renowned stage like Awakenings, Coachella, Fabric London, Opening live before Richie Hawtin’s CLOSE Live show at the Palladium Hollywood, Spazio 900 , Fabrik Madrid, closing after Nina Kraviz at the Official TimeWarp AfterParty in NYC, Cafe Gallery Tbilisi, Closing for Cercle, and regularly touring with Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT party at Tomorrowland, in London, Paris, Milan, Ghent, NYC, Istanbul and more.
