This Saturday, February 21st, Nørrebro gets a serious shot of French groove and disco.
De La Groove is a French House label that has been lighting up dance floors across Paris, France and, since 2018, the wider European scene. Known for high-energy DJ sets and collaborations with key figures of the movement, the label now brings its carefully curated sound to Copenhagen for the very first time at Sigurd CPH. The night is presented in collaboration with ¡Sauvage?, De La Groove’s longtime partner in Paris, where live shows and DJ sets come together to create unforgettable House nights.
Expect raw, driving electronic beats infused with the warmth of jazz and disco, designed to push the sound system and keep the floor alive. From rare gems to timeless classics, every record has one clear purpose: keeping bodies moving deep into the night.
For this Saturday, De La Groove is represented by two of its founding members:
Chinau - A House DJ and producer active on the club circuit since 2011. A resident at Club Sacré and curator for Djoon, he is known for dynamic, sun-soaked sets rooted in 90s garage, deep, and soulful house. His sound often weaves in organic elements, paying tribute to the pioneers of NYC and Chicago house.
Larry G - This French G delivers groove-led, feel-good sets, blending driving rhythms with soulful melodies that make standing still a challenge. Deeply rooted in house music, his influences range from Larry Heard to Mr. G and DJ Steaw. Alongside DJing, he produces warm, fluid house tracks and has released music on various compilations, his own EP, and labels such as our friends British friends The Disco Express.
Even if this is a De La Groove takeover night, the party still takes place at Sigurd CPH, which means guests must follow our golden rule: No requests, OK?! The DJs have traveled a long way to party with us, and they don’t need your suggestions for what to play next. Let ‘em cook!
