The Circolo Arcigay the Cassero of Bologna is a solidarity association of social promotion, non-profit, founded in 1982 and committed to improving the quality of life of gays and lesbians. For over 30 years, it has been proposing important cultural and political initiatives aimed at the homosexual community, local and national, and the entire city of Bologna where it is based. It houses one of Europe's largest documentation centers on the history of the GLBT movement, a health and wellness consultancy for gay people and one of the city's most important music clubs.
