  Founded by Berlin-based DJs Caramel Mafia and Offbeatsupportah, Ratchet Berlin is a party and community platform celebrating diversity, identity, and unapologetic self-expression within Berlin’s queer nightlife, with a special focus on BIPOC/POC communities. Musically, Ratchet centers Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Dancehall and Baile genres that are still underrepresented in many queer club spaces. Since its first event, Ratchet Berlin has grown into a vital part of the city’s club culture, hosting numerous events in and beyond Berlin as well as appearing at festivals. The collective also maintained a successful seven-year monthly collaboration with SCHWUZ through the party series Tasty, until the venue’s closure. In recognition of their impact, Ratchet Berlin received an award from the Clubcommission at the Tag der Clubkultur in 2024.
