Trying to sum up the magic of the streets of El Born is a daring adventure. Palaces of old nobles and merchants, small hidden squares, medieval airs around the Catedral del Mar and tourists strolling under the clothes and sheets hung out by the locals. Among so much romanticism, we find Tapeo, a restaurant of "market cuisine, simple and close", where tapas are prepared "with quality and honesty". This is how Daniel Rueda describes them, who gave birth to Tapeo in Carrer Montcada with his wife Natalia to express their personalities through their food. Their goal: to combine imagination and creativity with something that is easy to say, but difficult to achieve: deliver "very good" tapas. Under this banner of simplicity and closeness, Barcelona daily enjoys the magical meatballs with cuttlefish and peas, the cannelloni with roasted sausage and ceps, or the truffled eggs with foie gras and mushrooms.
