VIERNES 29 DE JULIO @ RAZZMATAZZ CLUBS | Apertura de puertas a la 01:00am 1 Entrada 4 clubs >>> RAZZCLUB, THE LOFT, LOLITA & POP BAR THE LOFT: MUMBAI SCIENCE + PLAYLESS El dúo belga formado por Maarten Elen y Jonas Kiesekoms, ambos de 28 años de edad, comparte una marcada inclinación por la música electrónica de ritmo rápido. En algún lugar entre el jacking house y el techno, su carrera musical arrancó en realidad como una banda de punk rock. Tomando ese vigor, la energía de éxtasis y la sensación de do it yourself de banda, fundiéndolo con un amor inquebrantable a la pista de baile, Mumbai Science nació oficialmente en el 2010. En el lapso de 3 años dejaron su huella en todos los ámbitos de la música de baile, contando nombres como Soulwax, Boys Noize, Tiga, Erol Alkan y Brodinski que apoyaron incondicionalmente a estos alquimistas de la música electrónica. En 2010, Maarten y Jonas irrumpieron en la escena electrónica y sin previo aviso vía Lektroluv Records, a través de cuatro bombazos de club que todavía resuenan en los oídos de los clubbers de todo el mundo: Woof, Ancova, Gold y EPs, cuatro maxis que han causado temblores que duran desde entonces. A estos le siguió el masivo 12” Lotus en 2011 y la liada ya estaba servida. En 2012 vio la luz la trilogía de EPs The Unified Theory, galvanización de sus inquietas inspiraciones y sus inclinaciones espirituales en 3 cortes diferentes, publicados a partir de enero de 2011 a marzo de 2011. Su apetito insaciable por viajar también dio a luz a su impresionante y ambiciosos 128 Memories Per Minute un diario en vídeo, con varios vídeos muy cortos no censurados, que capturan el espíritu del dúo y la difusión de su unificador mensaje musical a través del globo. Después de tres años ocupados girando y habiendo remezclado para los gustos a Goose, Alex Gopher y Crookers, Mumbai Science publicarían en 2014 su álbum de debut Deja Vu. Sorprendente culminación de toda la inspiración y la experiencia adquirida durante años en la avanzadilla de la música electrónica. RAZZCLUB: THE REMIX PRESENTS: DBFC LIVE! + EDDY TEMPLE-MORRIS (SOHO RADIO/LOSERS) + SIMONE MARIE (SOHO RADIO/PRIMAL SCREAM) + AMABLE El amigo Eddy lleva ya 15 años detrás del programa The Remix (ahora en Soho Radio). Reparte su tiempo entre los directos de su banda Losers junto a Tom Bellamy (con la que ha cosechado grandes éxitos en varios festivales gracias a su potente directo y temas como Flush o Sirenna) y su labor como revienta dancefloors. El dj favorito de The Prodigy, ahí es nada, (ha sido telonero suyo en varias ocasiones y Liam Howlett dice de él que nadie ha hecho sudar tanto a su público), es un profesional de las sesiones eufóricas en las que pone a prueba la resistencia física del personal a base de ejercitar gemelos con un cóctel de electro, rock y drum n bass que te va a dejar como las maracas. The Remix aterriza en Razz Club con un line-up de lujo, junto a Eddy Temple-Morris tendremos el directo de DBFC, proyecto liderado por el productor y remixer Dombrance por el que fluye con toda naturalidad actitud rockera y cultura de club. Completa el cartel el dj set de Simone Marie, actual bajista de Primal Scream y colega de Eddy Temple-Morris en Soho Radio.

You cannot fully understand the musical culture and nightlife of Barcelona without mentioning Razzmatazz. It is one of the most renowned venues within the national and international scene. Founded in 2000, it was the first Spanish dance hall to open every single day of the week with its five different rooms, all under one roof. It is a building that is, in itself, an emblem of the city; a relic of Barcelona’s industrial landscape from the 90s, which combines perfectly with the underground feel to the club. The main room, the Razzclub, forms the backbone around which its younger sisters function: Lolita, PopBar, Rexroom and The Loft, the favorite of electronic lovers. All records, styles and disciplines have a place within the four walls of Razzmatazz @ Number 122, Calle Almogavers. RazzClub is known for being a benchmark of the European indie scene. The best indie-pop, new wave, nu-rave, electro-rock and the best live acts from artists like Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Yelle, David Byrne, Coldplay, Orbital, Pulp, The Strokes , Kanye West, Blur, Belle and Sebastian. - Lolita plays music styles such as House, Future Beats, Electropop, nu-disco, old school electro, Italo, hip hop, trap, dubstep that have come out of the hands of artists such as Justice, Airplane, Juan Maclean, The Magician, Tensnake, Space Dimension Controler, Cyril Hahn and Eton Messy among others. - In PopBar you can find an incredible mix of the best Pop: Northern soul, technopop, electro-rock, twee-pop, 80's, classic Indie, RnB and the most hyped songs of the moment, thanks to great guest Djs and first class residents. - Rexroom works as a kind of experimentation centre where different styles converge: house, italo-disco, acid, gay house and old-school electro. - Finally, The Loft, a favourite amongst followers of the best international electronic; a spacious room where you can find the most avant-garde sounds of Barcelona. Paul Kalkbrenner, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, Len Faki, Boys Noize, Ben Sims, Dave Clark, Floating Points, and The Black Madonna guarantee their well-deserved reputation. The dress code is very casual. The wide variety of music tastes, cultures and styles played every night in Razzmatazz attract a very large and very diverse audience. No labels, no prejudice, total freedom and your clothes can say anything you want them to. Despite the club’s immense capacity, the “sold out” sign has been hung outside Razzmatazz on numerous occasions. To ensure entry you can buy your tickets in advance with Xceed. Razzmatazz never sleeps - it’s true! The nightclub opens 3 of its rooms every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of every month. Sundays are for INSERT, an afternoon session for lovers of the most pure techno. During the remaining days of the week, the room is open to host a variety of concerts and live performances that usually last from 8pm until 11pm. The ticket price varies depending on the party, but in average the price for a normal night is around 15€.
