THE LOFT: TIMEDANCE: BATU + PLOY + Phran El propietario del sello Timedance, Batu, ha creado un sonido único en un espacio de tiempo sorprendentemente corto desde su debut en Cold Recordings, el sello de Pinch, en 2013. Tras otros 12” para Livity Sound, Hessle Audio y su propio sello Timedance, Batu continúa ampliando los límites del bass británico, poniendo a Bristol firmemente en el centro de la cultura de la música global. Tras un 2016 aclamado por la crítica tuvo un notable 2017, con producciones en Timedance, Hessle Audio, y recientemente apareció la remezcla oficial para Sampha a través de Young Turks. Mixmag colocó a Batu como uno de los 20 mejores DJ de 2017, y The Guardian lo recomendó como uno de los talentos a seguir en 2018. PLOY Debutó en 2016 en Hessle Audio, el sello de Ben UFO y en 2017 publicó otro EP en Hemlock Recordings, que fue elegida como una de los más destacados del pasado 2017. En 2018 regresó a Hessle Audio con otro EP y fiestas en todo el mundo. Recientemente ha publicado el Ramos EP en Timedance. RAZZCLUB: CAROLINA DURANTE + Amable + Legoteque Parece mentira que solo haya pasado si quiera un año desde que saliera La Noche de los Muertos Vivientes (Octubre, 2017), la canción que sirvió para presentar a la banda más interesante que ha nacido en Madrid en los últimos años, Carolina Durante. Diego (voz), Martín (bajo), Juan (batería), y Mario (guitarra) han conseguido devolver a las guitarras al lugar del que nunca deberían haberse marchado, a los jóvenes. Himnos absolutos, retratos de una vida corta pero intensa, contada a través de unas letras escupidas a la cara, sin complejos. Su nuevo EP Examiga, la continuación de Necromántico, contiene el himno viral Cayetano y confirma el pleno de Carolina Durante: seis de seis, ninguna canción mediocre, seis joyas absolutas. LOLITA: CLASSICWORKS: BÉZIER LIVE + CARDOPUSHER + NEHUEN Bézier es Robert Yang, un músico taiwanés-estadounidense con sede en San Francisco, miembro original del equipo de Honey Soundsystem. Este multiinstrumentista creció en el sur de California y luego plantó sus raíces en San Francisco en 2005. Allí ha construido un impresionante estudio basado en sintetizadores analógicos, que también funciona como el centro creativo para sus fascinantes actuaciones en vivo. En los últimos años, sus sesiones de DJ y música en vivo lo han llevado por varias ciudades de los Estados Unidos, Europa y Asia. POP BAR: La Britney Calva djs TRILL: LOWKEYMOVES: RASTRONAUT + Lowprofile Rastronaut es un DJ y productor nacido y criado en Lisboa con tendencia a la música bass club mundial. Su amor por los sonidos del underground de Reino Unido y todo tipo de música tropical de todo el mundo, es evidente en sus sets, que están diseñados para sudar en la pista de baile. Tras su pepino del año pasado Flexx, lanzada en la serie Upper Cuts, que recibió el apoyo de DJs como Uproot Andy, Branko, Toy Selectah o Roska, Rastronaut continúa explorando su propio sonido. A este le siguieron lanzamientos como Azulejos, Populous EP, Azinhaga, Enchufada na Zona o Take off (con Princess Nokia). Esta visión particular de la música de club se hace aún más obvia en sus sets en Hard Ass Sessions, la residencia de larga duración en el Lux Frágil, donde es conocido por llevar constantemente a la multitud cuando se hace cargo de la cabina. You cannot fully understand the musical culture and nightlife of Barcelona without mentioning Razzmatazz. It is one of the most renowned venues within the national and international scene. Founded in 2000, it was the first Spanish dance hall to open every single day of the week with its five different rooms, all under one roof. It is a building that is, in itself, an emblem of the city; a relic of Barcelona’s industrial landscape from the 90s, which combines perfectly with the underground feel to the club. The main room, the Razzclub, forms the backbone around which its younger sisters function: Lolita, PopBar, Rexroom and The Loft, the favorite of electronic lovers. All records, styles and disciplines have a place within the four walls of Razzmatazz @ Number 122, Calle Almogavers. RazzClub is known for being a benchmark of the European indie scene. The best indie-pop, new wave, nu-rave, electro-rock and the best live acts from artists like Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Yelle, David Byrne, Coldplay, Orbital, Pulp, The Strokes , Kanye West, Blur, Belle and Sebastian. - Lolita plays music styles such as House, Future Beats, Electropop, nu-disco, old school electro, Italo, hip hop, trap, dubstep that have come out of the hands of artists such as Justice, Airplane, Juan Maclean, The Magician, Tensnake, Space Dimension Controler, Cyril Hahn and Eton Messy among others. - In PopBar you can find an incredible mix of the best Pop: Northern soul, technopop, electro-rock, twee-pop, 80's, classic Indie, RnB and the most hyped songs of the moment, thanks to great guest Djs and first class residents. - Rexroom works as a kind of experimentation centre where different styles converge: house, italo-disco, acid, gay house and old-school electro. - Finally, The Loft, a favourite amongst followers of the best international electronic; a spacious room where you can find the most avant-garde sounds of Barcelona. Paul Kalkbrenner, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, Len Faki, Boys Noize, Ben Sims, Dave Clark, Floating Points, and The Black Madonna guarantee their well-deserved reputation. The dress code is very casual. The wide variety of music tastes, cultures and styles played every night in Razzmatazz attract a very large and very diverse audience. No labels, no prejudice, total freedom and your clothes can say anything you want them to. Despite the club’s immense capacity, the “sold out” sign has been hung outside Razzmatazz on numerous occasions. To ensure entry you can buy your tickets in advance with Xceed. Razzmatazz never sleeps - it’s true! The nightclub opens 3 of its rooms every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of every month. Sundays are for INSERT, an afternoon session for lovers of the most pure techno. During the remaining days of the week, the room is open to host a variety of concerts and live performances that usually last from 8pm until 11pm. The ticket price varies depending on the party, but in average the price for a normal night is around 15€.
