About

No art form in the world liberalizes emotions as intensively as music. Even if Lukas Lehmann couldn't have put it that way when he formed his first bands at the age of six: he has always felt it. Sharing this emotion with his fellow humans was the motivation to turn to DJing as a teenager and to work for the music magazine GROOVE later. The passionate vinyl collector contributes over 20 years of experience behind the decks into each of his sets and takes the crowd on a journey – always with the aim of surprising both the people and himself. Based on electronic dance music, wide-ranging influences from Disco to Afrobeat and Deep House to Melodic Techno form the sound of the Darmstadt native, who also appears as a producer. His Lui Hill Studio serves the synthesizer aficionado as a refuge to realize his musical vision either as a solo artist, or as a producer and engineer for other projects. His song "Q & H (Lorenz Rhode Remix)" developed into an underground hit, which has about 1 million streams to its credit. With "Juno Cuts A Caper" he followed up with another extraordinary tune on Gerd Janson's label Running Back, which received a lot of attention in scene circles. As a resident of Galerie Kurzweil, Lukas Lehmann embarked on a world tour with the renowned club in 2023 on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. For the accompanying compilation, which features big names such as Cinthie, Lauer and Move D, he contributed the tune "Pull Up The Blinds", a frisky anthem for the morning hours.
