Proof of this is the recognition by Traxsource naming #2 best artists in the world of Jackin / Chicago House and #44 of the Top General in 2016. The rapid rise of the Spanish duo Iban Montoro and Jazzman Wax, Iban Montoro from Barcelona and Jazzman Wax from Leon, have burst onto the scene in recent years with their productions influenced by the old school House, incorporating styles ranging from House, Deep to Jackin by releasing a series of releases on the world’s most recognized record labels such as: Ministry of Sound, Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Exploited, Robsoul, Madhouse, Nervous, Records, Great Lakes Audio, Good For You, Jump, Gourmand, King Street Sounds, Piston Recordings ... His songs have been supported by the best House Underground DJs in the world: Mark Farina, Dimitri From Paris, Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Gene Farris, Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Miguel Migs, Tommy Largo, Dj Sneak, Phil Weeks, Seth Troxler, Claptone, Tim Deluxe... In 2015, Simon Dunmore discovered the talent of these two boys and signed for the prestigious Defected Records family. Launching on the legendary label Strictly Rythm their EP called Chicago, where they had the support of the great artists of the scene and was reproduced in Podcasts and Radioshows as in the BBC, Defected Radio, Traxsource Live ... In 2016, they released their own record label MoodyHouse Recordings. An amalgamation of the best House Underground, Deep and Jackin, counting on some of the most brilliant talents of the scene like 4Peace, Angelo Ferreri, Arturo Garces, Cockney Lama, El Funkador, Javi Bora, Juwan Rates, Tommy Largo or Wally Callerio... This same year, Iban Montoro and Jazzman Wax join the Great Lakes Audio family, label of Chicago legend Mark Farina signing their first LP Album, which was one of the Best Selling Albums at the Traxsource Store in 2016. After this sparkling start of the year, they signed an EP on Robsoul Recordings, a reference in the world of House Underground, owned by Frenchman Phil Weeks. Their growing presence in the scene causes Kerri Chandler’s manager to ask them to release an ep on the legendary label Madhouse Records, sharing credits on one of the songs with Kerri himself, in a release that gave a lot to talk about. The release of the year for the couple was the Remix that made Mr. Fingers’ legendary track ‘Can You Feel It’ the House Hymn and was one of the best selling tracks in 2016. Also notable for its release on the famous German record label Exploited Records, where one of his tracks (I Belive) was one of the best selling of the year.
