Born and raised in South Africa, Cape Town based Cassiem Latief has been steadily immersed in the local electronic scene for more than a decade. He has played a relevant part in the inception of respected party brands such as the True Music Pop Up Club & We House Sundays. From humble beginnings working in a local record store to holding down residencies & major events nationally have earned him an appreciative and ever growing following throughout the years. His early music influences arise from soul, rnb, hip hop, jazz, reggae & long past 80’s to 2000’s House music released on labels like Nu Groove, Movin, Strictly Rhythm & Guidance. Latief features productions on labels such as Nomadiq Music, Solun Concepts & Magique Music. The future looks promising from a production side as he continues to grow and develop as an artist.
