Bodai

A pianist since the age of 8, currently a DJ, producer, singer-songwriter, record label manager and radio host, Bodai is bringing her deep, organic and progressive house brilliance to both local and global scenes. Her musical versatility includes a catalogue of more than 50 compositions and residencies on renowned international labels such as The Soundgarden, Manual Music, Proton, Frisky and many more, frequently supported by the great Progressive House leaders such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Aly & Fila, Eelke Kleijn, Acid Pauli, and Tony McGuinness, to name a few. Bodai started as a DJ in the Progressive and Organic House scene 10 years ago. In 2016 she began composing different styles of electronic music until she took a strong female position within the international progressive scene through her different roles, creating a solid foundation of credibility influencing different Argentinian producers of the genre. In addition to having founded the first Argentine organic house and ambient label called "AMITABHA", where more than 100 artists from around the world have already released; she was also one of the first women in this scene to release and remix internationally successful singles, reaching positions in the different charts from her first productions until today. She was also the first Argentine progressive DJ to do a DJ Set broadcast live via Facebook from the Amsterdam Dance Event together with the New York radio station, Frisky. Her vocal expression has also caught the attention of artists such as Kevin Di Serna, Sebastian Busto, Dmitry Molosh and Kostya Outta, with whom she launched successful collaborations. Her release ‘Deep Soul’ on The Soundgarden by the British icon Nick Warren, reached number 3 as the best Organic House EP worldwide on Beatport, as well as her most recent single «Brave», released on the Italian label Where The Shadow Ends, by Madraas (All Day I Dream), positioned in the Beatport charts among artists such as Tim Green, Lee Burridge and Sebastian Leger. Her EP “Calling My Name” includes 3 tracks produced in her home-studio during the pandemic and is inspired by the influences of the year she was born, 1985, giving a greater focus to her facet as a singer-songwriter. She also anticipates that remixes by Larrosa (AR), Nico Sparvieri, EANP, among others, will be released later, which are already part of her live DJ Sets and already have the exclusive support of Hernan Cattaneo. With her European tour in full swing with shows in Mallorca, Barcelona and Lisbon starting in July, Bodai will be saying goodbye in style to her city of Buenos Aires, most recently with Kevin Di Serna and Santor, at Crobar.
