This included stints in orchestras as well as jazz and metal bands. After discovering house and techno in late 2011, he decided to get a copy of Ableton, start producing, and exploring the wide realm of electronic music production and DJing, constantly experimenting with different ways to incorporate his musical background into his productions and performances. Beartrax’s productions and performances heavily feature organic, musical elements such as violins and synths as he conveys his love for melodies and vast range of influences, which range from Heavy Metal and Punk to New Wave and Classical. Having worked with labels such as Motek, Nite Grooves and Lost Diaries and seeing numerous releases appear in the Beatport charts with the support of renowned DJs such as Ame, Laurent Garnier and Oliver Schories, Beartrax is now focusing on his own imprint, Melodize, which is a further expression of his musical approach to house and techno.
