About

On behalf of the creative agencies La Marée Haute and BLCKLB, we’re happy to welcome you at the DEEP DIVE masterclasses. What is DEEP DIVE: A series of masterclasses held in Antwerp and Brussels with the aim to support emerging talents in the music industry by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge for business development in the creative sector. The project has been approved and is fully funded by the Flemish government. This initiative was created both agencies as professional growth and bringing knowledge to underrepresented creatives is their common goal. The topic This edition in Antwerp we will discuss womxn in film and their trajectories in the Belgian film sector. Our guests are author and filmaker Inès Eshun + actress and screenwriter Nadège Tansia. Inès Eshun graduated as a film director from RITCS in Brussels in 2017. Her short film The Life of Esteban won the Student Visionary Award at Tribeca Film Festival and captivated audiences at festivals worldwide. In 2023, she released her debut novel De gruwel van het gezin and continues to explore themes of unheard voices in her work. Nadège Bibo-Tansia is a Belgian-Congolese creative excelling as a writer, actress, researcher, and freelance reporter. She contributed to the series Putain (2024) and starred in Le Voyage de Talia (2022). Her research work includes Plan A and FC United (2022). Beyond her artistic endeavors, she coordinates the Couleur Café festival and reports for the Royal Belgian FA. The journey Dive into an inspiring discussion on the artists’ creative paths, highs and lows, and must-know tips for young talent.
