THE SUNSET OF ELEFANTUM VII We're proud to announce the return of The Sunset of Elefantum, now in its seventh edition. This is more than a party.. it's a ritual. An epic gathering of open-minded, spiritual people drawn together by ethnic, tribal and afro house music. Live drums. Live vocals. Tribal dance. Fire breathers. Tribal dancers. Open hearts connecting to source, to one another, and to the moment through the raw power of the rhythm. Here, music becomes medicine and the dance floor becomes ceremony. This year we expand to the sand of OA Beach Club, where we'll dance with our feet in the earth as the sun sinks over the Atlantic.. carried by the rhythms of three incredible acts. Flying in especially for this occasion, MEL7EM.. our very special guest from Lebanon: a live singer, producer and songwriter who has recently gone viral for his music. His live Arabic Sufi vocals move through you the moment you hear them. Beside him, DIVINE:TIMING — the live afro house duo behind the entire event, blending live drums and live singing, channelling pure tribal afro house into every set. And opening the ceremony, the legendary ecstatic dance DJ BRAHMANU, whose conscious, ethnic-rooted selections take you on a journey out of your mind and into your heart. Prepare for a ceremony, not just a party. A celebration of joy, connection and release. For four years this ritual has grown on the island, each edition crafted with more care, more detail, more beauty, more power, more unity. And this is still only the beginning. Musically, we travel a sacred route: from the Canary Islands across Morocco and the Sahara, past Egypt and through the Middle East, along the Silk Road, and home to the source — India. The song that gave this party its name was born in DIVINE:TIMING’s studio, beside the presence of an Indian temple. A connection with Ganesh — the elephant-headed god of abundance and remover of obstacles — happened without them realising. The song carried his spirit, the party was named after the song, and the rest is history.
