Nascosto tra la notte dell'incoronazione di Carlo Magno e quella dell'entrata in vigore dell'Euro, tra l'anno della scoperta dell'America e quello dell'uscita di Homework dei Daft Punk, il 1989 è una di quelle date senza tempo, scolpite nella storia dell'umanità. Il 1989 fotografa una rottura, un passo in avanti, un segnalibro che divide il prima dal dopo. Per dirla con una sola parola? "Breakthrough". È nell'alveo tracciato da questo concetto che scorreranno le notti della sesta stagione di Minù al Circolo degli Illuminati. E se nella Berlino che viveva il tramonto dei suoi anni '80 a cadere era un muro di mattoni, l'obiettivo di Minù nella stagione 2017-2018 è l'abbattimento di muri meno vistosi ma forse più insidiosi. Quando il grande sistema mostra segni di cedimento, sono le sottoculture a dover rispondere: nel club come è inteso da Minù risuona dolce l'inno di unione e di condivisione, che accoglie tutti i propri ospiti sullo stesso, identico, dancefloor. Almeno per qualche ora il muro non può essere ricostruito. Dietro l'idea, oltre il "#Breakthrough", si staglia un percorso musicale che vedrà artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo alternarsi a dj resident romani (Demi James e Sawe) e internazionali (Jan Krueger e Lowris). If the fall of a brick wall marked the end of the 80s in Berlin, Minù’s 2017/18 season is destined to break down other walls, maybe less visible but perhaps more insidious. When mainstream culture starts giving way, it’s up to subcultures to take the lead: in the club, Minù breaks down the barriers bringing everyone together on one dancefloor. At least for a few hours there are no walls.
