The new name, Il Garibaldi/Milleventi, synthesises "the link with its history" and the "thousands of possible uses of the structure, first and foremost cinema, theatre, concerts, but also corporate events, meetings, training courses, trade fairs, fashion shows, and shootings: a multi-faceted space that meets the needs of those who seek a place in the heart of the city designed to welcome and create special events". The hall, whose redevelopment project is by architect Carlo Carbone, has about 400 seats between stalls and gallery, a latest-generation projection system, with laser technology, Dolby 7.1, capable of performing projections also on demand. Special care has been given to acoustics. Much attention has also been paid to film enjoyment by persons with sensory disabilities, through the use of subtitles and audiodescription tools that will be provided to them during their participation in the activity.
