Es Paradis first opened in August 1975 by Pepe Aguirre and artist Lluis Guell, who also created Café Del Mar. Like many of the top venues in Ibiza, Es Paradis was famous for its utdoor facilities. The island regulations of 1990 saw the club enclosed and the iconic pyramid roof was born. Visible throughout San Antonio, the extravagant 120 ton roof hints of a magical experience within, which is exactly what Es Paradis delivers. Loosely translated as ‘Heaven on Earth’, the white interior and enormous natural gardens make it one of the most spectacular venues, and also a popular hangout for celebrities while they are on the island.
