Piazza San Leonardo is located in the upper part of the city of Canelli, at the top of the cobblestone road called "sternia". Facing the square are the parish church of San Leonardo, built in the late 1600s, and the church of the confraternity of San Rocco, a splendid example of Piedmontese Baroque.
