What is DEEP DIVE: A series of masterclasses held in Antwerp and Brussels with the aim to support emerging talents in the music industry by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge for business development in the creative sector. The project has been approved and is fully funded by the Flemish government. This initiative was created both agencies as professional growth and bringing knowledge to underrepresented creatives is their common goal. The experts Dimitri Borrey (Managing Director @ Vangarde / Sony Music France) In 2008, Dimitri Borrey began his career as a music manager, aiming to promote local talent. He partnered with Paul Van Haver, now globally known as Stromae, and spent a decade helping him achieve international success in both recorded music and live performances. The result? Millions of albums sold and industry recognition, connecting Borrey with top music executives like Lucian Grange, Monte Lipman, Ron Perry, and Guy Moot. In 2015, he managed Belgian artist Loïc Nottet, who placed 4th at Eurovision. Borrey helped him break into the French market with Million Eyes (diamond-certified in France, triple platinum in Belgium) and organized a successful European tour, pioneering concert booking in Belgium. In 2020, he shifted to production, focusing on urban music. Starting from scratch, he developed Geeeko straight out of school, amassing 25 million streams during the pandemic. Arina Logacheva (Warner Music UK, COLORSxStudios, Ohlogy) Creative and strategic music industry professional with expertise in artist services and culture trends. Skilled in building bridges to artists. Adept in music rights, contract negotiations, sync and publishing. Experienced in music curation, project leadership and international strategies leaning on a rich background of working in the UK, US, Germany and Scandinavia.
