Dando guerra a los platos desde 1989 y con su sello Crayon a partir de 1997, Mark Ambrose es uno de esos señores que se inventó el techno inglés durante los años 90 a base de mezclar lo mejor de Detroit, Chicago y New York, demostrando que los británicos también tienen funk, y a veces espíritu del ghetto, como con sus producciones como Skymaster. Un funk que nunca ha decaído desde esos años seminales hasta hoy mismo (la referencia Cray 4 salió hace unos pocos meses) y que no tiene pinta de hacerlo en un futuro próximo.

Moog is a widely known and historic club as far as techno and electronic music in Barcelona is concerned. It was born in the old Raval quarter of Barcelona 16 years ago.
It is a very emblematic venue with an underground feel to it. It is divided in to two spaces: the main room, in which you can enjoy listening to the best techno, drum and bass and electro music in the city, and the Villarosa room, in which you can dance to disco and pop 80’s beats. Local Barcelona DJs include Omar León, Gus i DJ Olmos.
