JAMES BURTON founder of Music Matters and talented up and coming dj/producer has established himself within the past 12 months growing from strength to strength in such a short space of time. With key influences from some of the heavy weights of the music scene, Burty has perfected his craft showcasing some of the freshest tracks varying from tech house tracks, trance to techno through to disco throughout his multi genre style sets. Burton comes from a close knit inner circle of friends who are also influential djs recognised around the world, such as Richy Ahmed,Skream and Jackmaster to name but a few, his sound comes from these many influences, added to his own touch and style created and derived from summers spent in Ibiza and cultured from travelling the worlds music festivals and clubs. Residing in Darlington, Burtons passion for DJing extended into him creating his own night in his hometown: Music Matters. Which is the flagship of the emerging scene in the North East. Opening his highly anticipated night with Richy Ahmed and Solardo, Burton has began to expand his brand and expand the portfolio of venues he's bringing his showcase across the U.K, more recently James has took his passion for electronic music into production and with a string of tracks under his belt is now looking to take his production to new heights
