Illing holds a residency with TOYTOY at And Club in Johannesburg. She’s known for playing forward thinking, underground party music at various clubs and festivals across South Africa. Her style includes raw, driving bass lines to energetic, intriguing hi-hats and offbeat rhythms that take listeners on a captivating journey with each set she plays. As a DJ, she is driven by the desire to constantly improve her technical skills while finding new styles of music and exploring innovative ways when approaching her sets. During the week she runs a DJ school from And Club called Stoke. This space gives up and coming DJs the opportunity to gain first hand experience learning how to DJ in one of the countries top clubs. The course brings together like-minded individuals who have a passion for music and learning about the electronic dance music industry culture.
