OF:10 presents ASTRO

ASTRO, stage name of Rida Amhaouch (Acireale, July 2000), is an Italian-Moroccan rapper. Born in the province of Catania to Moroccan parents, he grew up in Salsomaggiore Terme, in the province of Parma. After starting to make music at around 13, he published his first songs at the age of 16. In 2017 he met the producer Sadturs, who has since become his regular collaborator. He began publishing his first songs on SoundCloud, using the aliases Yung Sultan, first, and Astroboi Jay, then. He then released the mixtapes GUAP (2018), as Yung Sultan, and Days B4 Mars (2019), as Astroboi Jay. In 2020 he was discovered by Ghali, who in January 2021 signed him to his label, Sto Records. In the same year, under the alias Digital Astro, he released his first official project, the EP VENDETTA. In September 2024 he changed his stage name to ASTRO, releasing his first eponymous album the following month.
